hmm... Motivation pls...
it's been quite a while since i last updated this blog... been too busy and this week's kinda quiet 'cos Pst Phil did not preach in church on sunday morning... which means no work for me for the week...BUT IT'S NOT GOOD... i'm no longer one week ahead of the programme...
anyway it's kinda good i'm having this quiet time... not in college today 'cos had to stay home and wait for the wardrobe man to come fix the stupid wardrobe... waste my time... he just got here and banging away on the walls... wish he would do it quick... I'm looking forward to lunch... Advocado sandwich... yummy.. havent had dat in ages... and i wanna close the door... my feet's cold...
I spent this morning lazin in bed till 8.15am... took a shower... went to the bank and returned a dvd... applied for a job at the same time this morning at the DVD rental place 'cos i saw in the papers today that they were looking for staff... hmm should be quite a simple job... wanted to do pizza hut delivery but just heard of news that petrol's going to be more den $1.20 a litre now... DAMNIT...
we watched Bride and Prejudice last nite... so funny... reminded us all of home... OH YES... WE HAD DURIAN 2 days ago!!! hahaha 99cents per KG... wasn't fantastic but HEY it's still durian in AUstralia... only bought one frm wooly's 'cos didn't know the quality... haha actually Hayden paid for it...
Been busy helping Hayden this 2 wks, 'cos he had his EP Launch... i must say... IT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS... Made a few people tear, especially his mum who flew all the way from Perth to come watch the performance. Really proud of him too... almost had tears too 'cos i knew what he had to go through to get to this stage but i had to control myself 'cos i was directing the cameras... Everyone was raving about how good it was... not like any normal cafe connects... It was not just pure ENTERTAINMENT but it was EXCELLENT MUSIC as well... just like a J.T concert... *wink*
Hmm boy is his band hungry... cooked pasta for 16pple BUT IT WAS ALL FINISHED AFTER 10MINS! not a drop left... same for the juice... was looking through 2 of the tapes... looks quite good..
Oh yes... DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA last week... clogged PIPEs... made the whole bloody house and street smell like sewerage... and Ivonne came home one Thursday afternoon to find the house main door ajar... 'cos anita forgot to pull the door close tight enuff... and all our laptops and equipment were just sitting on the table which is just next to the door... I AM NOT IMPRESSED... :(
Went to college on monday but had no work so ended up going into the city with Hayden, Christie and their mum, Tracy. we had a great time... His mum's really nice to talk to... not many pple are like that...
Hmm can't really remember what the past weeks were like... 'cos the only things that fill my mind now's just the EP Launch and this week...
OH YEs! i went to WEsley Institute on last friday nite to watch Shakespere's Midsummer's night dream directed by my head of Faculty, STephen THomas... his last gig there so went to support him... he's done a brilliant job! Felt sick on the way there though. Was in Chrysta's car and almost threw up twice... She reckons i was overworked. 'cos felt numb in the head and couldnt feel my hands and feet... like semi-conscious feeling. Felt better after the play... and on Sat night was Bec's Majorwork... proud of her too.. 'cos i've seen her tears and pain.. but she and hayden's both pushed through and finished their Diplomas! hmm 1 more week of college for the two of them and they are finished with college for good... Bec's going back in a week to Perth and i'll get to see her in December when i myself finish... Maybe... who knows... not long till September...
Hayden might be moving out of this area n possibly moving abt 45mins drive away... :(
