hmmm had kfc for dinner tonite.. yummy... OR YUCK I SHLD SAY... really need to watch my eating habits. going back to the bad... sigh... abit of a disaster today in CCTV while directing and taking stills for the graduation ceremony... ran so much my t-shirt was actually soaking wet... i know i know disgusting i hear you say...

anyway i'm abit bored... so here's the photo of Hayden and I at Hurricane for his 23rd Birthday...
Now lemme think... what did i do today... woke up at 6.30am, went to school at 8.30 to pass someone the camera, came back had breaky,washed my car, did laundry, vacuumed the floor and got my thermometer stuck in the vacuum, thank GOd it's a bagless vacuum. Cleaned the toilet... took my shower, went to Officeworks and applied for a job... dun think i'll get it though, came back had lunch and ate like a bloody pig... my eyes were bigger than my stomach... went back to school and sat in front of the edit suite for about 3hrs, and then went to set up for service, took photos, ran ard, had dinner and came back home
Right... boring entry as u can tell... i'm not really lookin forward to the stress next week. :(
ok... i'm editing this log for the 6th time and i was going to type some thing but i forgot... looks like i might have a blonde day tomorrow...
Oh yes i still have yet to pull out pictures from the video we shot at the conference... and there'll be more pictures to come, especially on wednesday... when we hire all the toys for the documentary shoot...
More late nites... or should i say.. sleepless night for the next week
Right.. spent the whole week in the city for the SMPTE Conference and Exhibition. College even paid for it... thanx to my persuasion. Anyone jealous yet? I got to play with cranes, new technology cameras, steadycams AND EVERYTHING ELSE... got free training on all of APPLE's new Production Suite and learnt about compressions and got a whole stack of notes on Production.
Reason why I said i'm getting sidetracked is because I'm supposed to be writing up my Resume now from the notes that I got from the conference and sending it to the Broadcast Recruitment Services. Who knows what kinda gigs i might get. Managed to network with quite a few industry people so it's pretty cool.
Well i think i might go back to doing the resume and maybe update on the weekends after i try and extract some photos from the videos we secretely took... got stopped by security a few times but WHO CARES... hahaha
hmm sorry to those who have been checking out the blog... i havent had the inspiration to update... been too tired... it's the end of the holidays but it hasn't exactly been a holiday... busy goin around, meeting up with secondary sch classmates and seniors, going back to college for shoots and meetings...
OK i finally went to Taronga zoo... for some reason, i think i've been there before when i was younger. Have to check with mum... but i kept thinkin i haven't. Got to the Koala Enclosure and it was like dejavu...
Met up with Karen, my senior and her husband... That was really nice... -_- spent alot that week meeting so many old sch friends with all the meals and what nots... I'm an expert at driving in the city now... doesn't scare me one bit, although some idiotic 4wd driver who wasn't paying attention almost crashed into my car while i was giving way to pedestrians... all i heard was this LOUD SCREECHING SOUND BEHIND, Looked at my rear view mirror and here is this 4wd, right up close to my butt...
AND I SPENT A BLOODY 30bucks on a car wash... DAMN THOSE SPIDERS AGAIN... 2nd time the spider's given birth to it's colony of young on my car. had to get it washed before they crawled into my car and grow... they're the huntsmen spiders, ones that grow to the size of your palm... grrr...hairy too...
well it was either spend 30 bucks, get rid as many as i could, or wash the car myself... and incur a 220bucks fine if my nosy neighbours reported me to the authorities for using a water hose on a tuesday...
bought a cover for the car but decided i can't be bothered trying to put on and off a cover every night and morning so i returned it and got my money back... good thing about being in australia.. you can take back stuff u bought and get your money back... no questions asked...
Yawn... there's a virus going around - flu-like symptons, loss of voice, vomiting, fever, cold spells, what nots... been on a heavy dose of garlic and crysenthemum tea, trying not to get it... beth, my housemate was really sick 2 days ago... Hayden got sick today... we had bak kut teh for dinner... with noodles... and pork balls... 'cos i thought the amount of garlic would do us all good...
hope he feels better... supposed to celebrate his birthday tomorrow... his birthday's on tuesday... n i'll be in the city for the SMPTE Conference...
Wed nite was kinda cool... we had a 3rd yr bonding session... NEVER KNEW I COULD BE SO GOOD AT CHARADES... my team won.. hahaha all the females... we made a short-film if u could even call it that... about that night... or we mocked it... THink i can be an acting student next yr.. will show that video to Stephen and see what he says... i had to pretend to throw up... and run down the stairs to the toilet... but as i ran, i accidentally fell... that was not scripted... it was just... caught on tape i suppose... but it was quite funny. we watched that part over and over again... my butt hurts now though...
hmmm ok quite a long entry to make up for all those dates i missed out... who knows i might feel like updating again in a few days... hopefully... if not this blog's becoming ancient. K... gotta go now... headache... maybe i should have an early night...
