I woke up this morning feeling like i've been given a new lease of life and not as if i have been in a big accident and hurting everywhere...
The back's still sore with thhe new bed but not as bad as before... at least now i can breathe a little without feeling too much pain...
And i think i agravated my shoulders again yesterday when i was trying to do my essay...... and plus trying to put on the bedsheets on the new bed.....
WHERE'S MY BUTLER?!?!?!?!

The new bed's finally arrived.... and to my shock n horror..... MY SHEETS DUN FIT!!!
BUT I MADE SURE IT WAS A QUEEN... but this queen is bigger then my previous one.... AHHhhhhhhh so now my bed looks like a man with a huge buldging gut..... and... the fengshui's no good
whahahahaha
no... i dun believe in feng shui... i was just pulling some pple's legs then... but now my bed side drawer doesnt fit.... n its all out of placeeee........ :(
I took maddie crabtree out for dinner tonite as Jeff n Julie arent around... they've gone off to Port Stephens for the weekend...
I have her the whole day tomorrow too so should be fun...
And i was helping her with her homework........ and.... I REMEMBER ALL MY ALGEBRA!!!! hahahahahaha
not bad.....
We went to Onshore cafe for dinner 'cos maddie wanted spaghetti bol..... n i had fush n chups....
Right... i'll sign off here n go to bed... on the new bed...
i'll report what it feels like tomorrow...maybe...

bahh... new skin...
had an X-ray done today... and it shows that got minor scoliosis on my lower back... which would explain the pain i've been experiencing..
plus the GP wants me to go to a neurologist for the rest of the stuff...
The new bed arrives tomrrow afternoon and i'm looking forward to a new bed....
Bonar had a free day today so I got him to go with me for the x-ray and I got him to go with me to the mall so that he could carry stuff for me...
So with my birthday vouchers, i bought 2 new 'toys'...
1. Pie Maker
2. Mandolin Slicer
The whole household had pie for lunch... and i had the leftovers for dinner
I've still got a voucher I can use..
Always wanted a Mandolin Slicer.... 'cos everytime i used a grater or had to slice anything, I always had a fear that I might cut my fingers or something.... BUT NOW.... Its soooooooooooooooooooooo easy.... and it's uniform sized slices...

its been more than a week since my back has given me grieve....
so far... i have spent about 350 on chiropractor and doctor bills.... hopefully i can get some of it back from medibank....
and i've had to buy a brand new bed... cheapest one i could find $760... the rest were above 1k and there was one that was 4k... don't understand why anyone would spend so much on a bed????
Chiro says i've got lots of muscle scarring along my spine, which means i've torn it before... just never paid any attention to it... and now it's accumulated pain and more tearing....
Visit today was lots better... he said my joints were moving better than last week but still needed some more work done... so now time to work on the muscle
So looks like i've been forced to rest... as of tomorrow, Micah's takin over my duties in cctv till i'm better... i'll have to be better soon 'cos he goes off to Africa in 4 wks and I prolly will have to take over his stuff when he's gone...
I'll still go into work tomorrow in the morning so that the computer can be checked out by a mac technician... and after, lunch appointment with Zoe. If i'm not feeling too bad, I'd even go to connect group.... Pam's offered use of her hot tub...very very kind of her...
still hurts to sit for too long.... feels like a stretching of the back... so today's morning class that ran for 1hr and 20mins almost killed me.
I have my Doctor's appointment on Fri... and get back my blood test results as well....
Started taking Delosad last night and it put me out... literally...
I was in bed at 9.30pm and i only managed to wake up at 8.15am when I had to be in class at 9am.... And i still felt groggy after 11am....
I've just taken it again 10mins ago and already I am yawning... so definitely no driving after taking the medication....
Bad that it makes me so sleepy... but it helps with the pain... my body was not as sore this morning.. and it didnt hurt as much to breathe and sneeze....
oh well... Pam says its like i'm being forced to rest.....and i guess rest i must... it will take awhile for the muscles to repair... and in the mean time... i wont be carrying anything heavy....
Christa says I need a butler... hahaha
I've found new interest in Grey's Anatomy.... and have started watching CSI again.... ironically, its been a long time since i sat down and watched TV.... n i'm allowing myself to do that again... just till this week.... and then its back to the assignments n the rest of the stuff that has to be done...
Just had a thought... maybe the 4th yr gals should go to the Hunter Valleys at the end of the year for a break.... no internet... no computers.... just lots of company,... hahaha just a thought... i'll ask them and see what they say... even if its for 2 nights....
right... enough ramblings....

For those who have not heard...
I woke up on Friday and couldnt move my body... tried getting up to swtich off the alarm cos it was annoying and it was only 6.45am in the morning.... and i thought i snapped my neck and was going to die... And yes it still hurts till today.
To make things worse... driving back from the state library on Sat evening, I was driving down a slope... and for some reason, my bum lifted from the seat and I bounced back down into the seat at the end of the slope... and felt the impact on my back... So... I was hurting in my neck....... then in my back... and while trying to sleep... i felt this sharp pain in my right shoulder...
I have to say i've got quite a high tolerance for pain... but yesterday and today have seen me close to tears from pain... and the cold weather's not helping... Panadol's not working... neither is Nurofen...
But thank goodness i managed to get an appointment with the chiropracter tomorrow afternoon so i'm leaving work early, even though I still have tons of work to complete...
Had class today but did not have the strength to write for long.... n its the same for typing, or editing, or cooking... OR HOLDING A BOOM MIKE OR CARRY A CAMERA...
I thought i'd try... but holding a boom mike today for a 15min shoot killed me... but we had no choice as it was only Micah and I today...
anywayz... i'm going to try and sleep now despite the pain...

Yes... i know... it's been a while. I'm sorry if i've neglected the blog... can't help it you see. My parents were here and we had a big birthday celebration. I know... i need to put up the photos... Then immediately after was a dreadful exam that i know didn't go too well :(, and then there was the Men's conference... and now... all the essays are starting to pile in. We've got 9 essays and 2 small journal writings and 1 online Journaling... but at the same time, I've got.... a big project waitin to start when the budget gets approved...
Ha we had a 'pre-birthday party' on the 1st Aug... I had the 4th yr gals over... we had pizzas and my special apple crumble for dinner...and watched The Princess Bride...which was a gift from Bronwyn... :)
My actual birthday yesterday was quite good... a lot less productive than any other days 'cos we had Staff breakfast in the morning instead of staff meeting, than I had a class in the arvo... we had cake there thanks to Dee.... THANKS DEE!!! the chocolate cake was yum... then immediately after... we had Staff Drinks... all on the same day. I left early and got home to have dinner before heading out to Macquarie Uni for some research... spent 10 bucks photocopying yesterday :( So nothing really special... although not many pple get to have staff breakfast n staff drinks on their actual birthday...
Today was... Not too productive either... Had class this morning... well at least i've got down what i need for my Research paper... shouldn't take too long to write the proposal now. which is due in......2 wks... shivers.... along with another essay... and the day before those 2 are due... there's one of the small journals that's due....
After class, CCTV had a department meeting/lunch at Deck 23 in Dee why... I had SLOW ROASTED SALMON.... oh it was good...
Got back to class 5mins late 'cos of one traffic light.. grrr..
After class, came back to work and did some editing and we had cake again... this time... by Christa... it was Chocolate coated hazelnut.... BOY WAS IT GOOD.... in between the hazelnut and chocolate was marmalade.....
Went out about an hr ago to shoot something, came back and found a plate of chocolate cupcakes on my table... from one of my students... how sweet.... They're having class at the moment... and i'll wait till they have their break...
Hmm oh... here's a toast to CCTV getting a go ahead for the equipment upgrade! WOOHOO!!!! HD here we come...
oops... i think i just put some chocolate through my hair....
Hmmm and here's a start to the late nights again..... 'cos i need to prepare the stuff for the masters application too.... plus all the other things on hand....
Hmmm oh and i got more prezzies too... a voucher frm the Women's dept and another voucher from a student...
All I have to say is... I'm blessed....
