Sigh... A very long, wierd and somewhat disappointing and unproductive week... But it's ok... i survived the week, it's the weekends... and i'm still walkin on... No stopping for me... stopping's bad news...
Spent the whole morning cleaning the house and the car... finally gave my car a clean... well it wasn't too dirty to start of with but heck... i couldn't stand the stray leaves or sand in the car... or the few random bird droppings... grrrr someone shoot the birds please...
Solomon arrives tonight...Hopefully he'll help make me feel better too...
Was going to go for a seminar at 3pm but looks like i won't anymore... Going for lunch with Anita and then coming back to start typing my short film script... got it on paper but it needs to be in the puter... Julia's agreed to write the soundtrack for it so all's good... and we're excited... she said as i was tellin her the ideas she could hear music in her head and wish she could somehow download it onto a thumbdrive and stick it in my ears so i could hear it too...
Thank God for close friends... dun think i would have stayed sane this week if not for them... Sometimes when u cannot do it alone, people around could be the ones that walk along with you and make it seem just a tiny bit better... Seems like our circle's fighting a similar kinda war/problem/season Argh whateva u wanna call it...
OK dun mind what i just said above... I'm really ok... this blog's just an outlet... so that i don't let it sit in me and boil over...
Anyway time to go shower... going for lunch soon... good i'm hungry... and heck i don't care if i'm eating more than what i normally will this week... I'm just going to forget about things for awhile... enjoy myself while i can... and then get stuck back into work...

Ha! Just got back from work... sickening rain... :(
Thought i was going to have to work till at least 12am... so i got Dave to buy me a v-drink... bernice came to say hi to... which was nice... IT MADE MY DAY! just like how my note made hers hahahaha
Umm i shouldn't have had that V-Black drink 'cos now that i'm done with work... I'm still so energetic!!! Oh well i'll just continue doing the photoshop work for Dave till i find my first yawn...
Was halfway through work when the dog that belongs to the Boss came in, hid under the table and licked my jeans... Made me jump and i shut myself up before i could let out a yelp... THANX DAVE! FOR NOT LETTING ME KNOW THAT THEY HAD A DOG!!! hahaha ok i didn't tell Gav about the incident 'cos i didnt want to embarrass myself... but for those of u who know me well enuff... I DO NOT LIKE DOGS!!! in fact, i swear they smell my fear so they come up to me on purpose... GRrrrrrr IT WAS BIG AND BLACK TOO!
Good news... and in bernice's words (praise the shekinah glory) I FINALLY GOT MY TAX AND ABN numbers sorted! AFTER SPENDING 1 HOUR IN THE TAX OFFICE... meh... well at least now i get paid for all my work from the past couple of weeks... hehehehe One lump sum.... nice one...
Went back to the office today for about 2 hrs, sorted through quotes n emails... and came back to go through the Photoshop stuff that's on my plate... Was calculating today.... and my wages won't even allow me to be taxed according to Josh... hmm thinkin of getting an accountant and seeing a Immigration lawyer...
So much for wanting to save and get a downpayment for property here... hahahah think i'll just have to poke that dream bubble of mine and postpone it for a later time... MAYBE 10 YEARS DOWN THE TRACK... or find some rich old man, marry him and put rat poison in his salad, Just like that lady did in Sizzler! hahaha no just joking... as if i'd do that... I'm not that desperate... and i won't put myself through hell just to get some ka-ching...
Talking about hell... WHAT IS THE WORLD TURNING INTO? The controversial Tourism Ad for Australia was banned in the UK because there was a line in it that says: "So where the bloody hell are you..." And the English thought Bloody was rude... It was reported today that the Canadians are banning it because of the word "Hell"... i mean... WHATS THE BIG DEAL??? hahaha goodness... *rolls my eyes* It's almost as bad as the saga in Singapore with that Teenager and her private mobile video that got "published" because her fone got stolen and the thief was quick enough to get it out and publicised... Well actually come to think of it, the mobile video was indeed wrong but creating a big hooha out of two words???

BAh! miserable morning... thanx to the rain... the weather's changing and it's starting to be cold... put on a jumper today for sch 'cos i woke up and was freeeeezin... n took it off only at lunch time when we went out to forestway... Interesting bunch of people we had at the table... pple i've never hung out with before... there was Julz, Caroline, Me, Wes (he said he wanted to come because it was all gals so why not... but he obviously didn't know that Chris Schultz was joinin us too), Schutzie, Beth Anderson, Sarah Newman and.... OUR MOBILE FONES... we spent quite a bit of time showing pics, listening to ring tones and sending stuff via Bluetooth...
anyway it was nice to take a break... i was getting upset and stressed about the trip to thailand... it's starting to be a such a big gig that i think i can officially call this Michelle's version of Bigger-than-Ben-hur-2... no. 1 was T.D. Jakes... Pam was just explaining how the classes for Jeff, Steve Hendo, Josh B, Bernice, Ryan and my class had to be covered... Mine's settled 'cos i'm doing an 8hr day with the first years... But like for a whole week, most of the lectures and classes had to be covered... Oh well.. it's a good thing we're doing this gig though... who knows what could happen there... It's definitely stretching me in terms of technical knowledge and character and responsibility wise... And hopefully i'll learn quite a bit from this gig... well... actually i already am... Plus the ka-ching ka-ching's nice too... well... an advantage 'cos i haven't got a spouse to bring along on the trip i suppose... pple bringing their spouses dun get paid 'cos their spouses go for free... And i guess the spouse can always choose not to go so that the extra money can help out back home... BUT WHO DOESN'T WANNA GO ON A FREE TRIP??? EVEN IF IT'S JUST PATAYA, THAILAND!!! Well the place we're staying at isn't too bad... 6 pools (pool slides, whirlpool etc).... squash courts... tennis courts... gym... KAROKE (Bernice n I can go crazy... Well... Wes might join us if he doesn't think we're too crazy) Umm... hahaha well all these stuff... but i dun know if i'll actually have the time? I need to shoot voxpox after lunch, and the announcements too... Naturally Bernice will be the host... And edit it in time for the night events... but i'll have music, opening slates and end slates in place... so it shouldn't take me too long... A test of my editing abilities hahaha

hmm well hair's almost dry... might start some work now... not going in to college tomorrow morning... goin down to the tax office to get my Tax n ABN number sorted... NEED IT FOR MY PAY!!!!

hmmm another sec sch classmate married... -_-
Sigh time passes so quickly... almost 1 term's up... i'm getting older... the big 21 this year... well at least i comfort myself in knowin that i know what i want to do in life... i'd hate to be one of those just wandering around, not sure of what to do in life at my age... and sad to say, there are quite a few out there...
Workwise for the year, i thought i'd get more of an income and save up but i still havent settled in properly... CCTV's still quiet in terms of job wise... Teaching's good... however it doesnt even cover half the rent... no not that i'm complainin... just thinking out loud... and YES i'm allowed! Been a big week... had some freelance work this week which was good... did 7hrs with Fluid Motion, and getting more hours this week... just means i'll have to go in to the edit suite after tutorials this wed which ends at 4pm... prolly will work till morning, depending on how i go... and then college thurs mornin...
Shld get about 14hrs in this week... so that's good... 'cos i prolly wont be workin next week while Solomon's here...
Ok enuff of these heavy stuff... MOney... Why does the world trade on money??? No one's answered that question yet...
Friday night was good... Had a nite out with the gals again... this time Jo came along... dinner wasn't too bad... had Seafood risotto... and then we went to Astral Lounge which was on the top of Star City Casino... had a nice view of city skyline... and there was live music too... we were jokin about how it was a nice place for a date... 'cos it was intimate but not too intimate... if u get what i mean... and the views were just breath-taking... Although the drinks were way too pricey... 20bucks for a cocktail... -_-
Hmmm there are a number of situations that has been happening that makes me feel sick, grieved and heartbroken... caroline was sayin that she felt the same... It shouldn't be tolerated and we've got to stand strong against it... the more we back down... the more it wont be helping the situation... in fact, it will encourage the situation... But enuff said... on to the more happy things...
Jon Boyd-bell, if you're reading... I GOT A DIGITAL SET-TOP BOX! and i've beat u!!!
hahaha i only paid $69 for it and it's an MTV one... from coles... YEa for the stronger signals for Free tv, Free Australian Christian Channel, Free Digital Radio stations... and wait for it, SUBTITLES FOR TV SHOWS!!! hahahaha i watched the whole of Getaway with subtitles... not that one would really need to do that 'cos it might get annoyin sometimes... but it's good for the deaf! :P
Bye to the days where channel 7, 9 and 10 might just randomly cut out! Bye also to the flipping of newspapers or TV Guide to see what's next on TV.. Hi to nicer and clearer pictures and tv guide... :) I'm thinkin of bringing the set top box back to Singapore when i go back and see if it works there... hahaha :P

hmmm my eye socket's been hurtin today... actually feels like the right side of my skull that's hurtin...
Damn it... i have to do a medical examination for my visa... BLAHHHhhhh...
Called them today 'cos i lodged my application 2 weeks ago but have not heard back from them. Aparantly they sent me a letter to my work email but i never got it...
And i have to drive out to Centennial Park tomorrow for a meeting with David... for the thailand trip... looks like it's pretty confirmed that i wont be going to Singapore... So the wives of the music team n me will go straight to thailand... Music team should be going to Singapore but only for 2 days? Think i'll ask Suci to pass a dvd to Bernice... hahaha oh Bernice n I will have soooooooo much fun it's not funny... -_-
Well i'm glad things are the way it is between Me, Caroline, Julia n Bernice... It's like Me n B have jumped on board the ship that C n J had for a while... but in C's words...it feels like we've been part of that group forever... like J said, she's growing fonder of me everyday... And so is she in my eyes... Been a while since i had girlfriends like that... similar age... ok they are closer in terms of age n i'm abt 4 - 6years younger... but WHO CARES! Think we're spending Friday evenin at Circular Quay this week... Me, C n J had lunch at the mall today... decided to leave campus for lunch seeing that we had a subway ticket... so buy one get one free... *scored frm Sydney Morning Herald*, C had to go to the bank but i didn't know if not i would have brought in my cheque to deposit *ca-ching ca ching* WAIT THAT SOUNDS LIKE CACHING which means BUM in teochew hahahah...
J had to get some stuff frm JB-HIFI... but C n I went back to work... we were talking about how we hoped this friendship would go a long way... how wierd it's only started this year, after knowin them for the past 2yrs... in fact C was sayin today how she n J initially thought i was everyone's good friend 'cos of the way pple talked about me... Well... i told her i'd smile, chat but not much of a connection with most people... obviously there were a couple... some still around... but the couple moved on overseas... And yes of course there are seasons...
But most of the time... my connection was with the computer and the electrical waves passing around the equipment and me... or the sound waves coming out of the puter in the air...
Think lots of people are struggling with the readings for the BA programme... we might start formin study groups? Well i'm not exactly struggling yet... just finding lots of big words... hmm dictionary.com's going to be one of my friends this year too.. hahaha
OH SHIT... I JUST REMEMBERED SOMETHING.... ARGhhhhhh the meeting tomorrow starts at 12pm... N i forgot i had the study skills seminar thing at 2pm... DAMN IT... grr which means i have to leave the city by 1pm? or 1.15pm latest...i hope David gets through it quickly... -_- blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wonder if it will be rude for me just to go for the meeting for only an hr??? had an "international" night out with Bernice(kiwi), Julia(Half Armanian and half greek) n Caroline (Jordanian) and looks like we might make this a regular thing... hahah the four musketeerS? No.. actually, more like the 4 partners in crime... Well there was muckin ard... as usual, seeing that we're all into pullin pranks... but there was also quite a bit of a serious talk... stuff that i shall not disclose... we drove into the city, had Pizza at some place on Oxford St, then went on to Neutral Bay for gelato... and OH MY GOODNESS IT WAS GOOD GELATO... Was going to post up some pictures but my cable seems to be faulty!!! damn... oh welll it's late so i might try again... dun wanna fustrate myself tonight with a cable... Oh i like the aggresiveness of caroline... on the road and off... hahaha she and Julia are such wogs sometimes... ok well they are... even they say so themselves... and Bernice is just constantly delirious, like an eternal "high" from sugar... goodness i wonder what she was like as a little kid... aparantly red cordial would send her sky rocketting... IT was a very nice time... so thanx gals...
Yea i'm not "disabled" anymore... couldnt use the mobile for almost 2 days and i felt so lost... dad must have overlooked a bill... oh well...
Sigh... 3 days time and rent's due, car insurance due... -_- WHY CANT THE WORLD OPERATE ON TALENT??? So if a dancer does an excellent piece of work, she gets more credit that does that just did wateva...
Had the neighbours over for dinner last night too... and they were quite open... gonna pass them a calender for the Cafe connect 'cos they automatically asked to be invited to any performances or concerts... I was amazed at how open they were... here i was thinkin that i had to push hard for it.. but nah... easy...:)
Oh i hope the cable works... dun wanna have to spend more money... and the memory's gettin full too... -_- grrrrrrr
Might be having another night out tomorrow... depending on who rocks up to service... I do hope it happens... 'cos it'll be quite cool... Seems like my social circle's starting to widen... was talking to stephen today and we both agreed we had to widen our circle of friends... no point juz being friends with the computer (in my case) and in his, countless meetings all the time... Hahah he was social tonight too... aparantly he had a dinner with some friends from the Board of studies... in some hotel... (ooo classy...)

hah... thought i'd drop a line before this blog becomes stagnant... one thing a few of us are asking ourselves... WHAT DID WE GET OURSELVES INTO, SAYING YES TO DOING A DEGREE... rahhh... Yeap, we call ourselves suckers for punishment... Emma and I were discussing how difficult it is to teach a class, and then be "students" in some of their classes too.. where does one draw the line? Had lunch with the Pashleys today... John was sayin that it's hard for him too... 'cos he keeps having to remind himself that his workers under him who have classes, aren't his workers in class but students...
hmm 5 more weeks to go... Life's going to be busy... Easter, Presence, Thai trip, Jaffas n Choc-tops nite (Screen Production screening)... ALL IN THE SAME FEW WEEKS... One after the other...
Anyway it's taken me 20mins just to write the above... Yes i am tired... n i shall leave the entry here... nothin much exciting in my life yet... But keep your eyes open 'cos who knows what tomorrow might bring...
