rehearsal's juz over... Wes and I are here editing and tryin to get videos out... long day tomorrow.. on cams from 8 - 3pm den rehearsals from 3pm... den the show...

been in a daze all day but all will be fine... was told some news this morning which caused me to go into shock... scared but excited all at the same time..

sigh... i hope all goes well tomorrow... told Pam not to bother to ask me to go home... 'cos we still had work to do...

Pam says that Julie Crabtree says i'm very "non-verbal" and i talk with my body more den my mouth...
but juz ask the third years... and i am so much more verbal than i was in first year...

ok i must admit... i'm tired today... drove to Neutral bay and because the weather was so hot... i almost fell asleep at the lights a couple of times...
Kathryn said she's bringin dinner tomorrow...
i went out and got sushi again... this time we included Pam...

anyway... pam's here... so blog later if i still have the inspiration...

hmm so news spreads really quickly here.. all of the big shots know that i only slept for 45mins... yes... i know i know they care... Today was abit hectic... hard disk died on us... computer failed... too many things and it's all a blur now...

had to drive the hard disk to Chatswood... but Pam, Stephen and Sue all made sure i did not drive 'cos of my lack of sleep... kathryn accompanied me and drove me there...

Stephen's funny... he asked Pam to do him a favor and give me a hug on his behalf...
hahaha and i had to promise i would sleep tonite...
The show's looking good now with lights... juz need to get music and vocals right... N FINISH THE OPENING TITLES.... grr...
today's been so emotionally draining... dun bother bout the physical but oh boy the mental side of things... i thought we lost close to 500hrs+ worth of hard work, sweat and tears...

Thank God the hard disk got rescued... still dodgy but oh well at least i didn't lose every single thing... just hope nothing's corrupted... i bought sushi for dinner... $3 a box and i bought 3 boxes... so i'm really full now... Stephen, Pam and Kath had some... need to get fuel but fuel's like so ex... should have gotten it this morning... we drove back and forth to Chatswood twice 'cos at first the guy thought we couldn't rescue the disk... but juz as we were about to arrive back in the area, he called us and said to turn around 'cos there's a glimpse of hope....

Makin sure i'm stayin away from sugar or caffine now... 'cos i promised i'll go home and sleep tonite... if i had a choice........ i would do more work... CCTV's not out yet... STILL HAVENT GOT OPENING TITLES AND CREDITS... i hope tomorrow's productive... trying to fix the computer now...

hmm looks like full-run's started...

ha! so i went home for a nap... for 40mins... den got up and prepared today's meals, went to the gym... n now i'm back...
stepping out of this building at 3.50am in the morning is SCARY... it's so dark that even the light on my mobile is too dim... hmmm

anyway...i'm like SUPER HUNGRY... actually i think the hunger was from this morning... and i'm kinda bored...
i hope today will be productive... need to get titles done no matter what and at least print 2 versions to tape...

SHITE... that's all i can say... it's 3am... and the V drink's juz kicked in... can't render anymore 'cos there's no space left on the hard-drive and i have no idea what can be deleted so i can continue with work...

so i could either try and push and do abit more work on the computer... or go home and try to go to bed... which prolly won't work now even though i'm exhausted 'cos the V's got guarana in it... and i'm abit hungry...

Oh well.. think i might keep going?

hmmm it's officially past 12am... ummm 5 and a half more hrs to go till the gym opens... i wonder if i can push myself till den... hmmm dinner was nice... we only did one run through tonite... and ended at 11pm anyway... tech problems again... hmm i'm juz rendering the re-cut of the growing up video segment... fixed up the edit by Wes for the bloopers segment..
Think i might continue Opening titles and credits tomorrow morning when infobreak is in...
But till then... NEED TO FINISH CCTV EP 201.... 'cos info break's using the desk tomorrow... and think for thursday too... den on friday i'm on cam all day till afternoon den its time to prepare for the night show... think i need to get more V Drinks... Pam brought in chocolate for the rehearsal... had a few pieces which gave me energy... anyway... Rendering's done... next segment...

hmm... it's 5 to 7pm... and the making of grace segment is close to being done...
left with credits and OT... looks like a sleepless night for me... since i havent done much of CCTV and it kinda has to be couriered out tomorrow noon... 3 cans of V drinks left...

hmm looks like Kathryn is right... i've changed so much over the last 3 yrs... in my first year here u couldn't get me in front of the camera no matter what... but this year, i've dominated the screens... ummm so how the hell did that happen?
OK... u guys in SG.. must be thinking... u must show us when u come back... ok ok... only if u're really nice to me... hmm

did i mention that Stephen mentioned that if he had extra money he might come down to SG for a holiday in Jan?
That would be sooooooo cool... would die to have him in SG and i can show him around... wonder if he'll come by himself??? anyway i'll ask him more when production's over...

Kathryn's makin me dinner tonite 'cos i didn't get a chance to cook anything... brought soup... but looks like i'll have spaghetti bolognaise tonite... nice of her... she didn't have to offer...

I'll be babysiting Chrysta's kids next Weds night... UMM They are like way bigger sized and taller than me.. that would be funny... hmm she said she's going to pay me too.. nice...

hmm i hope i survive tonite... rehearsals start at 8.30pm... and would prolly end 11pm+ and then i'll continue working... i'll still have to go home and take a shower but... hair's oily n feels yuck... didnt get to go to the gym today... maybe might go tomorrow morning...

hmm the smell of KFC's making me hungry... Josh n Wes are having KFC... Kathryn said she'll be here around 8pm...

Pam's really random today.. and it's got me thinking too... she called the phone and said

hmm it's 9.50pm... we've only had one run through tonite 'cos of tech problems and we weren't even in the audi... day's been abit boring... actually i've been in a daze all day... with a headache... haven't had a chance to put in pics yet... but maybe i will tomorrow morning...

THe arias was great last nite... we got quite good seats even though we were quite high up... we had seats in the middle section so we got to see all the action. It was quite interesting to see the way they managed their sets... they had 3 stages and the set change was amazingly quick... well.. obviously they had the man-power... think i counted about 13 cameras last nite... but i'm pretty sure there would have been more... 2 jibs and a movie-bird... pretty darn amazing i have to say... the stage got more and more interesting as the night moved on 'cos the artists were getting more and more drunk...
anyway... i might upload photos up later in the day when i've got the first yrs on to doing some work... Micah's not in yet... and Kerry juz got here...
well.. going to the gym later too and grocery shopping...runnin out of toilet paper...

well... back to work.. and hopefully i'll get some time to post up pictures!

well... i left at abt 11.30pm last nite.. after Stephen msged me at 11.09pm and said GO HOME PLS...

Today's kinda been a long day...
woke up at 5.30am 'cos of my body clock, went to the gym and only managed to work out for 30mins.. well if i could even call it a work out... Body decided to shut down after 30mins... so went home, girls were up so we decided on the attire for the Arias... then i came to college, printed off the videos to tape... vacuummed my car (finally) while printing off videos...

College threw a bbq today for everyone as a thank you for everyone's work... and sacrifice... REAL Sausages.. boy were they huge... i only had one sausage... there were leftovers and Pam gave me a loaf of bread to bring home... white bread... dun eat it but the girls will...

Had rehearsals all day long... and the big shots came to watch and give approval...
They cried during the "show and tell" and won't be changing anything in the script... Woohoo! not that we really had a script in the first place...
Half of a video sections been cut... but all good....

Went to mona vale to shoot the opening titles... AGAIN...
but this time footage is good... juz captured it after Hann's EP Launch performace... ummm Pam called and said to go home by 10.30pm and i was to msg her when i did...
She said that it's the first time videos are up by the week before the production, not the night before... so what i've been trying to achieve is there... i dun have to push myself too hard...
Guess that's a good thing...
The tape we shot on is and old tape and the last bit of footage is destroyed... THank God i captured most of it already and then the destruction happened... DAMN OLD TAPES... :(

Oh well... budget...

Anyway it's 10.30pm... lemme msg pam and tell her i'm juz shutting down the stuff and about to go home... so i shall keep to my promise...

hmmmm... it's a friday and i've been here for 12hrs... struggling to keep my eyes open...

Babysat Micah's daughters for a few hours today while they did a shoot... Pam said she didn't know that the competencies of a 3rd yr included babysiting... and Stephen said: "When are they going to stop this child-slavery?" haha oh well Elise cried for almost all 2 and a half hrs... 'cos she was really tired... that poor girl... i just had a V drink and a cup of tea... trying hard to stay awake and concentrated...

Anywayz... just had good news... I'm going to the Aria awards... yes yes... i know some of u are jealous out there... it's like the Australia's Music awards... next thing is... what am i going to wear?! :(

i spent 50 bucks yesterday... bought 2 t-shirts and a skirt...
hm... been a long long day...
found out stephen likes turkish delight... didn't spend much time with anyone today... and have been non-stop since production meetings this morning at 8am... running after a 5yr old... and carrying a 1 n half yr old for 3hrs plus made my tiredness turn into weariness... oh well... it was all for a good cause... didn't have lunch... juz at junk... and didnt get to go to the gym again... but i will go tomorrow... and i dun care... i'm going to vacuum my car tomorrow....
long long day tomorrow too...

hmm hope videos are ok and not too many changes have to be made after tomorrow's viewing...

hmmm left at 12+am this mornin and was back here before 7am...Kerry was still around at 12am too.. think she might have left shortly after me...

jeans... still half dry but oh what the heck... have to wear them anyway... the weather outside's pathetic... gloomy skies.. rain...

i might get to see stephen today... he said he'd call...
that poor guy... he's loosin his voice 'cos it's been overworked from directing the whole production... and the numerous meetings he has in a day, plus marking the HSC all at the same time... i'm not surprised he looked so weary last nite... and a little grumpy... :(

hmmm i'm a little sleepy... woke up this morning with a strong sense of a need to get new clothes... might call kathryn to see if she wants to go shopping tonite seeing it's late nite shopping and we haven't got rehearsals...

need to remind Stephen tomorrow night at 10pm about the shirt and pants 'cos he'll be marking tomorrow till 9pm... Mental note.. REMEMBER TO REMIND STEPHEN...

i'm fallin asleeep in front of the computer... i've got 4 cans of V drink, and the stash of food here... 2 boxes of Jatz biscuits, caramel and lemon tea, Lemon and honey (from last nite for stephens' throat) 6 packs of snakes left... a box of cheezels... 3 krispy kremes left from yesterday... 6 pieces of chocolate that kathryn brought for me...And the so ironically healthy food compared to the mentioned above in my paper lunch bag... a can of tuna... an avacado, a mandarin orange, crackers for the tuna... and my salad...

tryin to keep my eyes open... need to make a trip down to Office works later to get face labels... hmm i might go to the gym today while i'm there...

well... as for now... back to work...

hmmm 7 hrs after i left last nite... and i'm back in the studios trying to get some work done... had only about 3 and a half hrs of sleep last nite... was too wound up when i got home... and i've run out of clothes to wear! Pathetic pair of jeans... that so desperately need to be put aside 'cos its too big... Anyway...I threw in the clothes in the machine for a washing while i prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner for the day... hung it out... and left...

Last nite's attempt to record to tape the international version was a dud... left it on thinking it would be done when i came back in the morning... but i wasn't thinking and switched off the audio desk... WHICH WOULD EXPLAIN WHY THERE IS NO AUDIO FOR THE LAST HALF OF THE PROGRAM.... Think michelle... think....
Thank GOd I checked...

oh well... plans for today needs a little re-adjusting then... was going to print to tape the Aust Master and watch through it for any glitches, then print to tape the Imparja or Miraclenet version while i took Josh to the airport... think i might be nice and buy some Krispy kremes while i'm there for some of the staff... maybe.... need to check my balance first....

Hmm... breakfast isn't that great... i've run out of plastic cheese... so my sandwich is kinda tasteless...
Maybe find some time this arvo to go groceries and the gym....maybe while i print one of the left-over versions....
Need to get red bull.... long week ahead... at least the gym's giving me more energy to go through the day...

hmmm nothing happening in the studio for the next week... good in that we dun have to scramble to find extra time on our already overfilled hands... but bad in the sense that there's not much income for this month...
Well... at least we're meeting the target budget...
we need more business... so we can upgrade all the equipment...

ok why am i rambling....
half the program's done... i'm getting really good at this multi-tasking thing.... working all 3 computers at the same time...

Juz back from the gym... it's now 6.20pm... and took an hour there, which means i've been here for nearly 11 and a half hours... workin my head away, without a break... juz eating some pre-cooked rice... mediteranian... not bad...

anywayz... if u guys remember the post about stephen proposing to me.. here's a funnier story... i turned it back onto him...
We had rehearsals yesterday nite and at the end, i put on a dvd of the videos we had completed. But on the menu of the dvd, i had 2 wedding bands, and the words that read:

Stephen, i've thought long and hard.
And the question to your answer is yes...

the reaction from him was GOLDEN...
all the students in the audi were abit lost at first but figured it out quite quickly... which left many students laughing... good thing i suppose...

i hid under the audio desk and stephen shouted across the auditorium and said: Michelle Tan... where are you... So you'll marry me....
well.. at least it made him laugh after that intense rehearsal. He said i had 2 choices... one, to marry him or two, to adopt him...

Was supposed to have a meeting today with him ... about videos... AND HE STOOD ME UP~~~ oh well... that poor guy... his meetings ended late, which made him late to go to the board of studies to mark the HSC acting course... well he's a popular man...

he said he'll make it up to me one day... in 20yrs... and i'm like... yea rite.. whateva...

Christa's going to disturb him and say that he's not looking after his woman well... if he does this to me now... it will get worse after marriage... hahahaha

See... if he was 30yrs younger than what he is now... i would consider... but den again if he was 30 yrs younger... all the females here would be flocking to him!

anyway...enuff of this funny stuff... i'll show u guys the video of his reaction when i get a chance to do so....
Back to serious work... might be an all-nighter tonite... seeing that i have like 2 videos to complete by tomorrow and CCTV programme which should be sent out latest Thursday... 'cos the TX date is only 2wks away... :(

hmm it's 8pm and i'm sitting in the edit suite... juz finished a shoot... and we've managed to edit about 4 segments... still rough... and needs changes... but Stephen's decided to join one of the segments and take out another altogether...
so 4 more segments to go... another day of shooting tomorrow... and i juz found out i broke my nail juz den... grr... hmm think i might head up to manly... to do abit of relaxing... been a long day... gets abit stressful when u're having to teach someone how to edit step by step when they're supposed to already know what they are doing... and i stress on the word... SUPPOSED TO...

Oh well... Stephen's happy... so all's good... hope tomorrow's weather isn't too crappy...

Craving for char siew pau now... :( or cheesecake...

hmmm juz printin the next preach onto tape now...
this morning's shoot was cancelled... again... 'cos it was too windy and not raining.. so we might be shootin later 'cos the sky's still dark outside...

was ordered by Pam to go home and rest yesterday at 3pm.. she did it very gently.. not a bad ordering or anythin... by the time i was ready to leave... it was 4pm.. got home and stayed in bed n didn't do much till about 6.30pm whne Hayden came over to cook dinner... den went back to bed around 8.30pm but couldn't sleep till about 9.30pm... and sleep was abit disturbed... kept wakin up...

hmmm i hope the sky becomes abit darker and this rain continues till about 11am... half an hr to go before the rest of college arrives... i'm still feeling a little buggered...

hmmm micah's on location shoot today... so i get access to the digibeta... no competition... another day of juggling a few plates... oh well... i'll get through today... there's rehearsals tonite till about 10.30pm... so long day ahead...

oh well... i might leave this entry here... dunno what else i'm blabering on...

hmm i wonder... what's with me and having my meals in front of the computer?

I think i'm making a habit of it... even breakfast is at the comp... in fact... 3comps...

need to find time to go to the bank and grocery shopping later... must get snakes for Mr. Thomas... i think i broke his heart... again.. hahah
'cos he said the other day that i should just marry him and they can keep me in Australia... without thinking, i said out loud "oh that's disgusting...' haha no no he was juz kidding, he's got a son that's older den me... apparantly, kathryn reckons he's most protective over me...

anyway, during rehearsals last nite, josh asked if a comment he made was a slap in the face for me, stephen said: "No, i would never slap this one in the face..." den walked away, turned around and added: "Cos she slap me back at the knees... and gave me a cheeky laugh..." so halfway during the rehearsal, i walked past him, and purposely hit him on the head... and said: who said i could only reach your knees... hahaha certainly gave him a shock, made Josh, therase and kathryn laugh... the rest of the students were chatting among themselves on stage to even take the slightest notice...

anyway i dunno where this entry's going??? being random again... OFGS is coming to cctv for an excursion today... (yea!!! more work on my plate...) jugglin the editin for EOYP and cutting CCTV at the same time.... and Spring review... and the excursion....
another early morning tomorrow... call time at 4.45am for a shoot...
hmm i hear therase coming up the steps...

sigh... one hr of my precious time wasted... therase took the camera home without telling me... so i came in early to do some editin but no deck... she said half an hr ago she was on her way... n she only lives 20mins down the road... wat is taking so long... grr... too many things to do

mum said last nite grandma's not well... i do not like this kind of news...:(
and i feel so far away... MINDY TAN and MAG... better spend more time with her while u have the chance... never take things for granted...
and siao sally better not come too close to agravate her... i want the year to quickly end so i can go back...
i promise i'll spend as much time as i can at home...
i miss her cooking...
oh well... spent the day cleanin the house... and went to the gym for an hr...
the owner came around... gave me a shock... told him about the fly-screens so he's going to see to it...
ok... i've reached the end of my boredom....... she's takin way too long :( i really am upset now...
think she must have been stuck watching the bathurst race....

hmm today's abit of a slow day... infobreak's in all day, shooting some insuranceline will thingy... borin... spent this morning in the gym... came to college... did a bit of work, went for production meeting, duplicated 33cds of the EOYP music.. am a hungry gal today... had a sandwich at like 7.30am... juz finished my yoghurt and bar... which was supposed to be lunch... oh well.. so i'm full now... but i will be hungry in a few hrs... having coffee with Sarah brown at 11.30am... waiting for sheree to come in and kick me out of this edit suite and den i'll move on to the other... she's got this suite covered for the day... about to call the courier office to get them to come pick up the programme... might go sit in the audi for a bit to watch how rehearsals are going... real work doesn't start till 4.30pm... but den i could use this time to clean up the rubbish in the computers... so i might do juz that after coffee session.. think i might buy a salad from the cafe for lunch... think its the cheapest healthy thing u can get there... 3.50 buckaroos...

hm.... i'm bored...
think i'll go off for a walk now... n call the courier company...

hmm juz found time to blog... today's been hectic... day started at 5.30am at the gym... got to college, did some work, went to chapel, did a shoot...
drove abt 15kms today up and down the road outside college... the result of not having a dolly or steadycam... and we were shooting feet running on road... so i had Wes lying on his stomach, with my boot door open, and i drove beside the girls... hahaha the things we do to get our shots... Tomorrow's fun time with dirt...
Did more shoveling... OH... i got to push the wheel-burrow!!! hahah SO EXCITING... couldn't lift it too high off the ground though 'cos of my height... but i still got it going... we had to use a mallet to pound some dirt so it became smaller and powdery...
currently eating my dinner (same salad... i've run out of caesar salad dressing but i used a few drops of Tamari instead) it's quite nice..., chatting to suci, blogging, and printing the second version of the program now... 4 more to go!
Lauren Taylor's majorwork tonite... multi-cam shoot and i'm directing... my guys should arrive in 30mins... tomorrow's another hectic day... can't wait till 3wks time when production's over...

i hope tonite's not going to end late... i'm feelin a little buggered....
hmm oh well... going to concentrate on my dinner now... so laterz pple...

i love my strawberries... 98cents a punnett... and they are like.... so damn sweet... yummy... anyway... started on a new recipe for dinner... had roast pumpkin and sweet potato, some lettuce leaves, a few raw mushrooms, some cheese and caeser salad dressing... i'm into the raw mushrooms again... yes yes... i can hear marc and mindy go... "YUCK.. how can u even eat that"...

it's 10 past 8pm now.. and i'm waiting for the preach to finish rendering... at the same time blacking some digi-betas... i'm a little bored... and really full... trying to leave here by 9.05pm so i can get some sleep... back to the gym tomorrow morning... long long day tomorrow... hoping to have dinner at home... but i dunno yet...

i hate how Pam's office makes u cry she even has a box of tissues there waitin to be used... i notice lots of females coming out and crying... wonder about the guys...was chatting with Micah abnout the first years and he went to call Pam and told her i was stressng... so... Pam said to send me to her office... well.. i wasn't stressed until i sat down and started talkin to her... although i couldn't articulate what was upsetting me...

Oh well... life... she said that this is how i learn leadership... there's only so much i can do.. if only people had the same kind of urgency... anyway like i said... it's one of those days...

anyway alittle on the side... i was saying earlier to therase that i reckon strong men cry... okok i might be rocking some boats here... :P

hmm Chrysta was really nice... she bought a struddle (if dats how u spell it) into work... and gave everyone a piece... she saved me a quarter even though i wasn't around most of the day... it was full of cream though.... but really really yummy... blueberries... and she said it was only $5.50... mmmmm she's like a mum... well she is a mum... juz not mine... she always brings stuff into work... cakes... biscuits... cookies.... hahaha oh well... i couldn't say no today... not after that workout with the shovel and the dirt... and more shovelling tomorrow and the day after.... i hope the shoot goes well... hmm

morgan road's scary... the pot-holes... bumpy roads... it was a good back massage... was glad it wasn't my car though... went for a drive in the ute with Wes to get some dirt for tomorrow's shoot... AUD$25.50 for 1/2 tonne of red dirt... was wearing my thongs and should have worn shoes instead... oh well... guess its easier to wash the thongs then the shoes... had a complimentary personal training session at the gym this morning... quite good... got to use some equipment that i've never dared use...

haha people thought it was funny... screen production students with shovels and brooms... messing with dirt... oh well.. all for a good cause... trying to secure the cloth-thingy over the dirt juz in case it rains... and wes was throwin some bricks on the ground to use as weights... one of it landed on my feet... with no protection of a shoe... i got cuts and a bruised feet.... oh well life goes on... dunno what's wrong with me today... feelin disorientated, disorganized, unmotivated... and am soooooooo looking forward till the holidays... i really really really really need a break... loooks like a late one tonite... going home to take a shower... and den come back with dinner to do more work... i had recycled water sprayed on my feet too.... the water stank so bad... it was required to wash down the wheels of the ute as we were leaviing the site.... and for some reason, some of the water came in through the door... NO FAIR...

oh well.. back to work for me... maybe update more later if i got a chance...
