Ahh it's so hot n dry in Perth... wished i was in Sydney 'cos it was raining today... Drank so much water but still feel so dehydrated... And by 3pm... the Neverfail springwater was empty but i didn't have the strength to carry the bottle up to the filter to get it changed... so i had to sit and wait for marc to come home to change it... Not that it's that heavy... it's juz that it's high up and i'm short *ok.. i'm facin the truth here* so the higher you have to lift it... the more energy you need and the heavier it gets.. ALL THANX TO GRAVITY... anyway i've come to a conclusion that things are heavier in Singapore by about 2kg... because it's nearer to the equator...
Anyway i had such a scare this afternoon i could have sworn that i almost did a no. 2 in my pants... Marc's friends left their bikes outside the house and because i thought i will be going out before they come back, it wasn't safe to just leave it outside, considering the fact that one of it was a second hand bike but was purchased at more than 500bucks... I wanted to bring it into the backyard and the guys could take it when they came back with marc so i went out by the balcony door to open up the backyard's door... wasn't expecting any wind 'cos it was so hot but just as i went to grab one of the bikes out of the two, a random and strong wind blew and the door slammed shut... i stood there shocked and scared 'cos i did not have my mobile on me, the phone and my mobile in the house were ringing with compliments from Hayden 'cos i wasn't on the computer...plus i didn't have the house keys on me. Worse thing was, i didn't remember opening up the front door after i locked it while i took my shower... so many thoughts ran through my head while i tried to kick and bang the door open... I so thought i had to stand outside and wait a few hours before my dad's friend came to pick me up or for marc to come home from school... guess i could always go to the neighbour's, borrow their phone and call hayden to call mum to call dad to call his collegue's wife to pick me up.. how bad would that be though... 'cos i can't remember contact numbers here... Anyway... i kicked n pushed the door for a while, without checking the front door... THANK GOD IT WASN'T LOCKED... if not i would have fainted dehydrated outside in the sun... An image for u guys who have a strong imagination... Imagine a shrivelled prune... EWwww...
Came back into the house with such relief, sat down in front of the computer and guess what?! i felt something biting my leg... ATTACK OF THE ANTS i call it, we seriously think there's an ant's nest somewhere around... marc thinks it's in the CPU itself... silly... 'cos there are soooo many ants around the computer table and spraying it doesn't help... So got a few ant bites... Not a good thing... 'cos it made me paranoid and i kept thinking there were lots and lots of ants bitin me and everytime i sat in front of the computer, i had goosebumps...
Borin afternoon with marc gone to sch, repeated television programmes and not having Cousin Jen to chat with.. 'cos the past wk or so, she's been killing time in her office by chatting with me...
Wanted to take my walk to the beach but didn't 'cos the heat made me feel so... YUCK... prolly would become a piece of twig if i went for that walk 'cos it could easily take 2.5hrs... wanted to walk tomorrow too but we'll see how it goes... gonna be 38Deg for the next two days... but cold nights... 14... STUPID WEATHER....
Haha for a record, marc kinda flooded a part of the backyard earlier 'cos we switched on the sprinkler system... I know what he wanted to do... run across the sprinklers to cool down from the heat... and the hose linking the tap and the sprinkler got disconnected.. BUT WE WERE NOT WATCHING... so imagine about 5mins worth of water flowing to just one section of the backyard with an estimated radius of
