Right... exactly one more week of holiday... then i fly to Sydney... The stress n worries are also starting to set in... Yes... this yr would see me spending much more... 'cos first of all i'd need a car and an internet connection to even start workin towards passing this yr... just did a rough calculation... Internet connections for the year will roughly cost $1879.40 and add to that... i have to renew my student health cover once i get back for visa reasons... that's another $370... and the normal rent of $120 a week.. not inclusive of food... which could easily come up to $50 if i'm tight on food... and not eat out... dad's already paying for my mobile $89 on a good month... $100+ on months of production... Won't see me buy any more clothes for a while... i think i've got enough to get through winter and the rest of the cold seasons... Was thinkin of joinin the gym at the student rate but not sure of it anymore... think it might be 30+ a mnth... or was that for a week? i dunno gonna check it out n do my calculations properly... I THINK I'LL REALLY NEED TO WORK... a weekend job or something to help pay up for stuff... The car's prolly gonna cost $8000... and then the upkeep of a small car... could possibly come up to $200 a week...
Ok... at this point when i'm looking at all these amounts... dun mind me sayin this but i just have to let it out.... SHIT.... on a rough calculation, that's like $1395 a mnth.... That's considered minimal spending... and that's like close to $17k a yr.... NOT INCLUSIVE OF SCH FEES...
I'm starting to regret furthering my studies... i feel like such a burden...
Sigh... Hopefully i can get a job... help ease off the financial side... not going to be choosy about jobs anymore... No more cafe jobs for me... but i dun care if i have to work in a supermarket or a clothin shop anymore... Ideally, i can get like a photography job or dun even mind an office job really... Maybe i should go hassle one of my lecturers... see if he has any lobang for cameraperson jobs...
Ok... i shouldn't be worryiin some would say... BUT I CAN'T HELP IT... Just look at that staggerin amt of buckaroos i'll be spending...
Anyway, spent today just sittin in frnt of the comp...
Had fried kuay teow for lunch... dad cooked it... looks like a while more before i get to eat it.. dun think i'll be cookin it in Sydney... Hayden's mum called... gave me a shock.. 'cos i wasn't expectin her to call... or even have my mobile number! anyway she juz wanted to re-assure herself.. think she's worried about Christie... and things aren't going as well as planned... i dunno how things will be like for me in a wk's time... I should have touched down in Sydney by this time next week n on the way back to my sydney home... can't say home to me anymore... 'cos i'll get confused... which home i would ask... the one in sydney? in perth? or in Singapore? OR GOD KNOWS WHICH OTHER HOMES I'LL HAVE IN THE FUTURE...
MOnday after i get back will be busy, tryin to tie up all the stuff i have to do before college starts at 8am on TUesday... NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO HAVING TO STAND IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE SCH N SINGING SG's NATIONAL ANTHEM ALONE... if there aren't any other singaporeans... doubt there will be hey... but who knows...
Played badminton in the arvo, den came back to go to church... So much for the badminton... i had a slice of pizza n a few mouthfuls of the kuay teow... a few swags of dad's coke... and a can of green tea... Sigh.... need to be strict on what i eat again when i go back to Sydney... hopefully that could help me spend less on the food... but the first week will be quite bad.. gonna have to buy all the basic necessities like butter n rice again...
Those of u reading this... PLS PRAY FOR ME... I HAVE NO CLUE HOW I'M GOING TO PASS THIS YR WITH ALL THIS ADDED STRESS.... a huge jump frm how much i've been spending the past two yrs... haha and this keyboard's beginnning to sound a little strange.. i hear rattling when i type... maybe i've been blogging too much?
