Sheesh... For the last week, i've done 38 n a 1/2 hrs in Ministry either on Cameras, Directing or Editing... that's almost half of the required 80hrs for the year... I'm so drained...
It really was a priviledge to be a camera crew for the Youth album... I get to put that in my show reel...
Guess what... the switcher decided it had enough 1hr before the whole conference started... went up in brown smoke and filled the whole room with Burnt Electrical and rubber smells... so we've had to switch on a MINI SWITCH when i say mini, i really mean mini... the buttons are the size of my fingers... we're usin the Tech Switch as a switcher.. how funny... Anyway, we've ordered in a new one... DS700... hahaha $23,000! Just as well we hired an OB truck in for the album recording... Oh had a chat to the owner of the truck... Peter's his name... think he's around 40+? and he mentioned he was going to Singapore in a few weeks for his honeymoon... Anyway... i asked him how much he's spent on his truck... and he said... Equipments in the truck... Just under a million, without the cost of the truck... I love it when i step into the truck... the smell of cables and equipment running... hmmm a tiny piece of heaven for me... So no nice dissolves in worship... all cuts... just like Hillsong's new youth album.. hahaha... we did well for the album recording... but it's so draining... 'cos of the added pressure to perform... i was so smashed yesterday that even taking Beroca didn't have any effect on me...
Ok so tomorrow's another round of directing and then editing in the arvo... then Monday i've got a shoot EVEN THOUGH IT'S ANZAC DAY and a public holiday... den Tuesday's catching up on work... Wednesday make up lessons and another shoot.... THursday and Friday... Cleaning out of studio and meeting, Saturday another shoot... Sunday another directing... SO MUCH OF A HOLIDAY... den Monday's back to term 2... and i'll have to power on for another 9 weeks before the next holiday which will prolly be taken up by some other stuff... Sigh...
sorry for my endless rambling...
Anyway thought i'd write now 'cos no motivation to do any other thing... dinner time's comin soon... been eating dinner at 5.30pm 'cos of the girls... who knows if i'm lucky tonite and it's my day, i'll get to go to china town for supper... 3wks without any hint of asian food.... :|
Oh well... till den...
Oh i forgot... a bloody idiotic frog... STEPPED ON MY CAR LAST NITE... and left a trail of muddy prints... GRRr... n i just washed it last saturday....
