Hey hey...
So dinner on friday (30|04|05) was alright... I mean the food was nice but hayden couldn't decide on what he felt like eating... we first went to Sandbar in Dee Why... because Hayden suggested there... When we got the menus... he thought nothing tickled his fancy and that it wasn't what he was expecting... Besides... we had no one serve us since we sat down for 15mins or so... HOW IRRITATING... n the place wasn't even packed... there were only a few tables filled with the rest still on reserve and EMPTY...the waiters and waitresses were standing around CHATTING... Anyway we decided to walk out... boy did i have to muster my courage to walk out... felt so bad...
Their loss i suppose 'cos i dun think i'll be going back there for dinner ever again... coffee maybe... but not so soon...
We ended up in Stella BLu... which was one of my first suggestions... *flings dust off my shoulders* n I had a Spaghetti Marinara and hayden had a Risotto Something... (Can't remember the name now but it was a Seafood base)
After dinner we drove to Chatswood to watch White Noise... Hayden's suggestion...
We had an hour to spare when we got there so we walked around in a supermarket... And i dragged him into the arcade... sigh.. reminds me of the good old days... i so wanted to sit there and play some games then... like Daytona... DDR... Air hockey... Pool... Time Crisis... Marvel Super Hero and the list goes on...
But no... hayden wasn't keen so we walked around the block to check out Westfield to see if the Jap supermarket was still open... But i was right... It was C L O S E D
grrr... made me walk one big round for nothing.. after a full dinner... Yea go on... just stop digestion and let the food rot in our stomachs... hahaha...
We went into the cinema 5mins early... and of course his mobile phone had to be busy then with msgs and calls... Watching the trailers made me realize one thing from my last term classes... I REALLY CAN'T WATCH A MOVIE AND ENJOY IT THE FIRST TIME ANYMORE... i can read through the shots and tell you when something's going to happen... i can sit there throughout and tell you which design of the shot is not working and is not helping advance the story... i can predict what is going to happen to the character... Which is of course what i did when i was watching White noise... DID'T HELP... 'cos i ended up covering my eyes n ears when i knew something was going to happen n yet at the same time i'd open up a little so i still could watch? I WAS SQUIRMING THROUGHOUT THE MOVIE... i think there were a few instances i got so scared.. that i did something that made Hayden turn around and ask me if i'm ok...
And of course it wasn't helping that the show was based on Static noises and TV Screens where the dead could communicate with the living... So the hero of the story... ended up sitting in front of Tv monitors and computers... playin with sound and image so that he could communicate with the dead (his wife) and save the rest... It just reminded me of being in his shoes, sitting in front of monitors and the computer, sometimes late into the night editing... and i would hear the same noises and what nots.... crap... even typing this makes my skin crawl...
Anyway... i got so scared at the end of the movie that i couldn't drive home... Hayden had to drive us home... and of course i couldn't sleep that night... my imagination just ran wild... i remember one of my "visions" was that my car was parked where we parked when we watched the movie but when we came out, a 4WD had driven right across my car and left tyre marks down the middle of the car... i went to touch it and the metal fell off revealing a convertabile... UMM HOW IN THE WORLD IS THAT POSSIBLE? Don't know how to classify that dream now... is it a good one? 'cos i end up with a nice convertable.. WHERE I CAN PLAY THE BIMBOTIC SONG THAT HAYDEN PUT ON THE CD... REALLY LOUDLY AND BOUNCE UP AND DOWN IN MY BLONDE HAIR EXTENTIONS? *haha ok... that's n inside joke*
Saturday was alright... had a shoot in the city with CCTV people for leisure... HEY I HAD CHAR KUAY TEOW FOR LUNCH... i even got pictures! wahahaha
I was so tired at the end of the day... got home around 5.30pm for dinner... Kaye made pizza... and at 7.45pm they had Michael n Andrea come over for dessert and games
I sat there and watched TV.. they had a brownie cheesecake... but i didn't have any... miracle... i was feeling fugly... (Fat n ugly) so i decided to stay away... Was expecting Hayden to turn up around 8pm to collect a DVD and sat around till 8.45pm when he called and said he had forgotten to drop by in the midst of all the busyness of leaving church... In other words... SOCIALIZING :P... haha i must have sounded terrible on the phone 'cos he commented that maybe i should go sleep n leave the DVD outside and he could come pick it up after...
But i was waitin for Mum to call too so i didn't think i was going to bed early...
I then went and got my shower... changed into Casual but not too nice lookin clothes (My trackies and an oversized jacket) and watched Ghost... 'cos it was the only thing on TV that was worth watching... That was after talkin to Mum. I must have dozed off on the couch 'cos i did not hear Hayden knocking on the door, but i heard Kaye get up to open the door... Boy was i in for a shock... i wasn't expecting Barclay to be around too... I FELT SO EMBARRASSED... grrr... The two guys didnt hang round long... so i went to bed after.... which was around 10.30pm i think...
Sunday was alright... As usual, spent my day editing...
And i'm just about to go out for a shoot now... well.. i'll keep updating soon.. :|
