I wagged college today... still got the cold...
3rd nite sleepin in the new house... feels abit wierd but oh well... Met the owner and his wife quite nice people... willing to change stuff in the house that's broken so i guess that's a good thing... but they keep coming round to the house to check if everything's alright! i guess its a good thing they are concerned... they've got 4 young kids... maybe they're just trying to make sure we settle down properly... but i hope they don't come everyday to the house! 'cos that will drive me nuts... the owner came and fixed a new exhaust for the stove top... he's gonna change the shower head... EVERYTHING IN THIS HOUSE IS BUILT FOR TALL PEOPLE... EVEN THE BUILT IN WARDROBES AND SHOWER!!! we can't reach unless we tiptoe...
The fridge we got... DODGY AS... it was full of mould and had pieces of food in it... sprayed exit mould... and Scrubbed... so we've lived 3days without a fridge and finding it really difficult... it's even in the insides of the vents and we can't clean it out according to my owner... who's a air-con n fridge repair man...
so we're trying to call the guy we bought it off tomorrow n see if we can get our money back... we only paid a 100bucks... GUESS IT'S TRUE... u get what u pay for.. -_- spent so much time cleaning the fridge... We might try buying a small fridge from a Factory Second or somewhere but looks like it's going to put us down another 400-500 bucks...
Sigh... it's costing so much.. and i feel really bad... bought an aromatherapy candle earlier... Lavender... hayden said it was a good choice 'cos it was for Stress-relief...
Still got a hint of the cold but not as bad anymore... Not helping that this house is so freaking cold... no carpet anywhere, just timber floors (which might have cockroach problems) and walls... today also marks the first day of winter... wearing long johns under my clothes... too cold..
So much cleaning and packing to do... that's why i wagged today... 'cos i finish at 5.30pm tomorrow and got classes on Friday too... and i still have stuff in the other house... and got to finish my research on the weekends... oh btw i managed to get reception for this wireless internet... 40 a month, no contract... only had to pay 200 for the modem... 14day back garantee... so if i dun like it after this weekend, i'll bring it back... juz need it this weekend to finish my assignment...
HAD A SHOCK THIS MORNING WHEN I GOT TO THE CAR... i parked under the tree last nite... AND THE TOP WAS COVERED WITH BABY SPIDERS!!! Huntsmen.. oh how i hate u... I got paranoid driving back to the old place that the moment i got back, i took the hose and hosed down the car... and gave it a wash... about time anyway... but i found a few in the interior itself... SO I'M HOPING THERE ARE NO MORE... 'cos Huntsmen spiders grow to be huge disgusting ones... the adult's normally the size of your palm... eeekkk... i really really hope there's none left
hmm long entry... anyway it's time to go to bed... 25 past 10pm... long day tomorrow...
