ok so the past few days have been a little crazy...or should i say weeks? I havent been updating for a week... and it's now 11.16pm... printing to tape the 2nd version of CCTV Episode 206. Four more versions to go... at the same time encoding 'Resurrection'. Once that's done... i can delete all the media and continue on 'Grace'. Hope to finish the duplications tomorrow... about 50 copies altogether...
House-hunting at the moment... yes yes yes... AGAIN.. sigh... the life of an international SCA student... always moving.. Beth's wedding looks like it's going to be held on the 10th... Good 'cos i'll be around... not too good 'cos we were planning to move that day too...
Pam's given me, Bonar and Anita to live together... good 'cos i won't have to kill roaches anymore! or i don't have to try and change the light bulbs... YEah!!! haha well Pam said we could stay together 'cos Anita n Bonar are cousins and because she trusts me... I think i can take that as a compliment... so we're looking for a 3 Bedroom place... PREFERBLY with 2 bathrooms... I want my own bathroom... and 2 Lock up garages... looking at a few places tomorrow in the arvo and Wed... God... i hope we find a place soon... i'm running out of time... and it's getting a little stressful...
anyway here's a quick update... had a BBQ @ Jeff's(my principal's) place last Thursday nite...it was good fun... Jeff specially had his new BBQ delivered that day so that we could use it... not that any of us ended up cooking 'cos Jeff took over the role of Chef... not that anyone of us are surprised 'cos he always talks about him doing scrambled eggs and breakfast for his family in class... Speaking of Eggs and Breakfast... i had breakfast with my connect group today... it was our Christmas Breakfast @ On shore cafe on Dee WHy Beach... yes yes... we're a month early... but didn't have a choice 'cos lots of us are leaving early... Kerry-ann left today for the airport after brekky... Manon leaves Wed, Lise leaves Sun... i leave next Sun... so anyway... we all had to bring a gift under 15bucks... and a christmas card... was really nice 'cos Pam had this system in place (her family tradition) where each person picks a piece of paper with a number... No. 1 picks a prezzie, opens it up... No. 2 can either pick another prezzie... or steals No. 1's prezzie... No. 3 than gets a choice of either No 1's 2's or pick a new prezzie... i got No. 6... didn't steal anyone's prezzie... but i picked the prezzie that Pam brought.. It was really cute and i really really like it... Wait for it... it's a Portable Pillow and Blankie... Pillow's made out of those memory foam, where it conforms to the shape of the pressure... it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Comfy.. think Pam said she bought it 'cos she hates pillows n blankies on planes and she was glad i got it... But hey... it's not juz for the plane... i've been hanging on tight to it all day since brekky... It's good for the editing suite too.. especially for times like now when i'm juz sitting around waiting for the 2 computers to work their butts off... hmm Sounds like CCTV imparja's done... ok... International versions here i come... need to check Resurrection's master... if it's fine.... i shall carry on to the next task...
hmm ok... 45mins later and i'm back to typing this blog... International version on the way... Resurrection's media's deleted... found a few mistakes... will point them out to Stephen and hopefully no one else would notice or care too much... guess if i want to, i can fix it next year when i come back from the hols... but for now... it'll have to stay as it is... Now transfering Cam 1 n 2 iso media to the internal HD so that i can capture 3's iso... and the cross scene from Sat nite... God i hope there's enough HD space... the 300gb HD will be almost full when i'm done transfering... there'll be another 100gb in the external HD... grr... HD space is a little nerve-wrecking lately.. here comes the cleaners... they scare me sometimes...
hmm think i might be done in about 2 n a half hrs time... but that still won't give me time to cut 3's iso... i'll just have to leave it to capture i guess.. and do the dubs @ the same time... i'll cut the thing in the morning... think i might be a little behind time... damn... the coffee is not working!!! i'm like falling asleep in front of the puter... hmm babysitting Christa's kids tonite... hopefully she doesn't come back home too late from dinner...
