Today was supposed to be a quiet day until i got a phone call... i got half of what i wanted to do done... cleaned the house this morning and did the laundry... Then had lunch.... took Anita to Officeworks and then to the mall... i was about to do the grocery shopping when my phone rang... it was Stephen Thomas and he said that 2 out of our 3 projectors were down... this was at 3.15pm... and service started at 6pm... with the Parachute band... So i said i'd be down in abt an hr... 'cos i had to buy milk... juz got the necessary, drove straight to church... looked around for an extra bulb for the projector but found none... and got a call from Stephen (who was 30mins drive away 'cos he was going to drive down to alexandra to get a spare projector) sayin that the guys who were going to rent the projector was coming up instead...and he was going to be arriving at 4.45 - 5pm... so i said i was going to go home, put the milk in the fridge and change for the night service... That was 4.05pm... got home in ten mins, chucked stuff in the fridge... changed... and left straight away... got there around 4.45pm but at that time the guys were runnin late... so i set up the cameras first, and made sure everythin else was runnin properly.... and that the projectors were the only ones down... By the time they arrived with the projectors, it was 5.15pm and we were scrambling to get things done... all i could was watch and pray that it worked... well it did... 5mins before 6pm when the service was meant to start. *phew*
But it didn't stop there... i took my seat behind the sound desk so that i'd have an open view of the band... but Stephen came up and asked if i could help backstage 'cos i had blacks on... There was a mic swap for the normal band and Parachute band... so i said ok... only problem was i was wearing thongs... but so happened that for some reason before i left the house earlier, i felt i had to put a pair of socks and my shoes in the car... so i ran to the car, changed my footwear, ran backstage as i didn't know when things were going to happen... after the end of one song, Chris said to me that he didn't know the order of the service too so i had to run out and around to the auditorium to get a run sheet... got back in time to juz cool down and then had to go up front to collect the mini-pulpit and mike stand to the back. Then went back to the main auditorium... Stood at the back for a while because everyone was seated and i felt rude juz walking down the middle aisle and trying to get to my seat... After a while, i felt a tap on my shoulder... it was Andrea and she was sayin that the TV in the parents lounge was too soft and she wanted to know if i could help... well.. got there.. the buttons to the volume n programme control had been ripped out... the remote was nowhere to be found... so i said very cleverly.... Use somethin sharp... i knew there were sensors on the inside that could be prodded in order to change the volume... Michael did so with his set of keys... Pastor Phil was still speaking n everyone was still seated so i played with Jevon for a bit before heading out of the lounge... Was waitin for everyone to stand up during introduction to the band so that i could get my seat... the service was cool... did about 4 songs... and at the end... PPP had spoted Pst Richard Fowler who was in SIngapore for a couple of years... So i was determined to go up and say hi... besides he was once in charged of the TV ministry... I went up said hi... and HE REMEMBERED MY NAME!... i was so shocked that i juz shook his hand he said: Ok... stopped shaking my hand and give me a kiss... hahaha He then introduced me to his wife and said that we would meet up in 4wks when he gets back and have coffee... so that was cool... Dave Klum was speakin to him too and we set up a time for coffee for Tuesday morning at 10am at Manly... the students would still be at camp but i'm only going for Monday... Will go to the beach in the morning, meet DAve, then do some admin... and go to videocraft for the demonstration of the cameras with Wes n Stephen... Will be going out for dinner in CHatswood too as it's Bonar's birthday and we'll all be too stuffed to cook... 'cos their camp finishes at 2pm...

Anyway that was my day... Hope i can pack the books and do the next class' notes tomorrow... Shooting stills for water baptism tomorrow night so i have to be there at 5.15pm... and i havent been coughing as much... so that's pretty cool...Well i'm tired and going off to bed but before i go... here's some very random trivia... just because i'm Michelle and being random is part of who i am...

The world's oldest piece of chewing gum is 9000years old *ewww*

If the population of China walked past you in a single file, the line would never end because of the rate of reproduction *I'm surprised... NOT*

The average human body contains enough sulfur to kill all the fleas on an average dog.

Arachibutyrophobia is the fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth *how very interesting...*

The names of all the continents end with the same letter they start with *never thought about that before*

Grapes explode when u put them in the microwave *hmm should i try? I'll put one in a bowl n cover it*

The word "lethologica" describes the state of not being able to remember the word you want...

Wearing headphones for just an hour will increase the bacteria in your ear by 700 times *ok... note to all camera operators*

The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It's like a human jumping the length of a football field... *i wish i could do that...*

You're more likely to be a target for mosquitos if u consume bananas *someone remind me not to eat bananas in Singapore or in summer here*

If the world was tilted one degree more either way, the planet would not be habitable because the area around the equator would be too hot and the poles would be too cold. *amazing... should have included this in my Ethics essay on creationism*

The average person's left hand does 56% percent of the typing. *well in my case... almost 75%*

In medieval England, beer was often served with breakfast *now... how did these people do work?*

Right that's the end of those random trivia... Hope u learnt something reading it...
