the dreaded blue line fever...
ha no it's not a real fever... it's the name of the disease for having to wait for the computer to render the videos...
Easter production Matinee went well this morning... trying to rush the videos for tomorrow morning's service... gah... had like a gazillion things to finish today...
The dvd stuff i was trying to get done last night at work just didn't want to work... ended up taking it home and spent the whole night extracting it between applications.. took me about 7hrs... and it finally finished at 7.30am this morning. Thank God i did have a bit of a sleep... set my alarm clock for every 2 hrs to check on the progress of work and made any neccessary changes. ended up rushing to work this morning.
Gah... my throat feels like a sand paper... no good at all... still another whole week to go before i can start to slow down a little... but still have lots to complete... that's the week of holidays, and i'm planning to finish up 1 freelance job (more like a favor), 1 instill ad, my short film, textures and segments for thailand, all on top of my work...
Right... got Anna to go to the supermarket for me... she got the stuff i needed.. V-drinks to keep me n Stephen sane for the next couple of days... and chocolate for the crew... wanted to go to the supermarket this morning to de-stress but ended up having to rush to work 'cos the DVD took much much longer than i expected it to be... literally 24hrs worth of work and mucking around with the computer to try and grab a 30sec clip.... Well when the big boss says so... what else can you do...
can't blame us for wanting to be "can-do" people... Guess it will all be worth it at the end of the day when it does impact the viewers tomorrow morning...
Stephen got me thinking today... actually lots of stuff going through my mind, life and the usual stuff... but just not allowing myself to think too much 'cos i need the space in my head to do work...
Blue line's gone... back to work for Ms tan... till laterz...
