Had a long day today... Got up in the morning and went to the supermarket... had promised to make sushi for Stephen n Pam today... 'cos we were having a big bbq for the students during the rehearsal break and Stephen can't eat red meat... and all we had were sausages... Got home in time to make the sushi, and went to college to meet Pam.

Pam n I were doing the BBQ today... it was fun... Nice weather and everything... cooked up a total of 200 sausages -_- *rolls eyes* ahhaha Some of the students called me the BBQ queen... and at the end, i think I got very good at cooking sausages...

Stephen had asked students to bring drinks and a salad and I wonder what the message was 'cos we had a couple of people coming up to us with a whole lettuce and other veges for a salad... hahaha They ended up doing the salad themselves in the staff room while Pam n I continued with the sausages...

Both Stephen n Pam finished the sushi too... i actually made it in a hurry n wasn't sure if it was going to be nice but oh well... the response seems to be good :P

Had to stay after the first rehearsal to direct for service too... had KFC for dinner *very very bad* it was kinda crazy, with 3 videos one after the other but the videos were on different tapes... so i had abit of a scramble durin those segments... we ended up only playing 2 videos... Oh and we only did a sound check 4mins before service started!!!! I had both Anna and Nic on cameras tonight*ok Anna, if you're reading the blog, I'm talkin about you*... It was their first time and they did quite well... First time i had a crew who are all new... with 2 cameras to cover the service.... -_- MICAH U'RE KILLING ME... hahaha (i'm just using that phrase back at him... 'cos he said it to me all the time last year...) Well I have to say the coverage was quite good... normally I'd have a chance to relax a little and check my mail n multi-task... but tonight, i was really directing the camera operators... well nice to have a challenge once in a while... but they did really well... having to get used to suddenly standing for such a long period of time and having only each other for support, which means every second shot was theirs... except for when i made a big boo boo and cut to Cam 1 insteaD which didn't have an operator...

Anyway i should get back to my reading now...
