Yes... i know... it's been a while. I'm sorry if i've neglected the blog... can't help it you see. My parents were here and we had a big birthday celebration. I know... i need to put up the photos... Then immediately after was a dreadful exam that i know didn't go too well :(, and then there was the Men's conference... and now... all the essays are starting to pile in. We've got 9 essays and 2 small journal writings and 1 online Journaling... but at the same time, I've got.... a big project waitin to start when the budget gets approved...
Ha we had a 'pre-birthday party' on the 1st Aug... I had the 4th yr gals over... we had pizzas and my special apple crumble for dinner...and watched The Princess Bride...which was a gift from Bronwyn... :)
My actual birthday yesterday was quite good... a lot less productive than any other days 'cos we had Staff breakfast in the morning instead of staff meeting, than I had a class in the arvo... we had cake there thanks to Dee.... THANKS DEE!!! the chocolate cake was yum... then immediately after... we had Staff Drinks... all on the same day. I left early and got home to have dinner before heading out to Macquarie Uni for some research... spent 10 bucks photocopying yesterday :( So nothing really special... although not many pple get to have staff breakfast n staff drinks on their actual birthday...
Today was... Not too productive either... Had class this morning... well at least i've got down what i need for my Research paper... shouldn't take too long to write the proposal now. which is due in......2 wks... shivers.... along with another essay... and the day before those 2 are due... there's one of the small journals that's due....
After class, CCTV had a department meeting/lunch at Deck 23 in Dee why... I had SLOW ROASTED SALMON.... oh it was good...
Got back to class 5mins late 'cos of one traffic light.. grrr..
After class, came back to work and did some editing and we had cake again... this time... by Christa... it was Chocolate coated hazelnut.... BOY WAS IT GOOD.... in between the hazelnut and chocolate was marmalade.....
Went out about an hr ago to shoot something, came back and found a plate of chocolate cupcakes on my table... from one of my students... how sweet.... They're having class at the moment... and i'll wait till they have their break...
Hmm oh... here's a toast to CCTV getting a go ahead for the equipment upgrade! WOOHOO!!!! HD here we come...
oops... i think i just put some chocolate through my hair....
Hmmm and here's a start to the late nights again..... 'cos i need to prepare the stuff for the masters application too.... plus all the other things on hand....
Hmmm oh and i got more prezzies too... a voucher frm the Women's dept and another voucher from a student...
All I have to say is... I'm blessed....
